FAQs

Do you travel for mural projects?

Yes! I am based in the Northwest but happy to travel to your site.

What type of paint do you use?

I only use water based bucket paint for health and environmental reasons. Whenever possible I use Ecos paint, which is Red List Free. In other circumstances I use Zero-Voc latex, Professional Grade Acrylic paints and Exterior Latex.

What do you need to provide me a quote for my wall?

For me to provide a quote, I need to know:

1. Dimensions of mural area on wall and how tall the wall is (several stories? single story?)

2. Surface (bare wood, concrete, stucco, freshly painted wood, peeling paint) A photo of the wall is best.

3. An understanding of the ground in front of the wall (can you get a ladder or lift in front of it).

Can you paint this piece of artwork I found on the internet?

Not unless you have express permission from the original artist. However I can use your reference photo as inspiration for an original design.

How long does it take to paint a mural?

Mural installation times can vary from a couple of days to several weeks. It all depends upon the size and complexity of the design and I can provide and estimate upon hearing the size of your space and design theme.

Do you offer murals or designs that can be printed on a banner?

Yes. Some clients want their design printed on vinyl so it can be duplicated at several sites. Get in touch for a custom quote for the dimensions you need.

Do you paint things other than murals?

Yes! Other than walls, I have painted custom artwork on freeway columns, pianos, furniture, shoes, instrument cases, a dance floor, clothing and stage backdrops. It’s all fair game and if you have a wild idea I’d love to hear it!
